Homemade Soy burger recipe:
You can't even imagine how much I love this now. When I make it the first time I was not sure it will come up such delicious. Now, whenever I asked my son he only like homemade patties either soya or potato or veggie but all made from home.
This soya burger recipe with soya patties or cutlets. You can make this at home with this easy recipe with your lovely smile.
This soya burger is similar to a veggie burger only difference this one has soya. Soya patties or cutlets are very delicious you can have it snack also with some chutney or sauce.
For this burger dressing, you can use it according to your taste.
The ingredient you need to make soya patties:
Soya chunk
Boiled potatoes
Green chili paste
Ginger paste
Garam masala
Red chili powder
Salt
Lemon juice
Fresh coriander
Corn starch
Oil
Preparation :
I used soya chunk but if you have soya mince that's fine. Now you need to pa out and take 4 to 5 cups of water. Put stove on for need to bring water to boil. Add a chunk of mince and allow them to set. When they turn soft you need to squeeze to excess water and set them aside.
Now grind it and put some Green chili and a piece of ginger or you can add paste later also.
Heat oil in a pan. Put this mixture and saute for a few minutes.
Add now boiled mashed potato. Saute again for a few minutes.
Make sure you cooked soya well.
Add now Red chili powder, garam masala, salt, lemon juice, and fresh coriander.
Mixed well together and saute again for a few minutes.
Making soya patties or cutlets :
Once this mixture is cool completely Then divide the mixture into portions and make a ball depending on the size of the bun. And then gently pressed and make flatten and set aside.
Now you can cook this patty in a pan with 3 to 4 Tbsp oil on medium heat until both sides are crunchy and golden.
Or you can make thin batter mixing with 3 to 4 tbsp maida or corn starch with water. Dip each pattie quickly in this batter and roll in bread crumbs then you can cook in a pan.
Now Patties or cutlets is done. You can enjoy just like that also
How to make Burger :
Cut the burger buns and toast for a few seconds in the pan.
Spread Sauce or anything according to your taste. Place burger patties on it.
Now Placed onion tomato, lettuce, cucumber gherkin Anything you would like to have.
Serve immediately.
Tips:
Soya chunks:
It is easily available at any grocery store But you need to hydrate by soaking in water before you use it.
Frying Patties:
You can also grill them in the oven or you can use an air fryer though I never use an air fryer.
