Mango salsa with lettuce



Mango salsa is a delicious, refreshing condiment that combines the sweetness of mangoes with the tanginess of lime juice and the spiciness of chili peppers. It is commonly used as a topping or dip for various dishes, particularly in Mexican cuisine.

Here's a basic recipe for mango salsa:


Ingredients:


  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced Optional

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • chopped green chili

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder




Instructions:


  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the diced mangoes, jalapeno pepper, red bell pepper, green chili, and cilantro.

  • Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and gently toss to combine.

  • Season with salt and black pepper powder to taste. Adjust the lime juice or salt as needed.

  • Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  • Serve this mango salsa with a crispy fresh lettuce leaf
