Hummus Bruchetta With Tomatoes



Bruchetta . is one of my favorite ways to enjoy food. I love to eat bruschetta with different toppings. Bruchetta is a classic Italian appetizer. And here I m going to share with you all a delicious hummus bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and olive oil, salt, and paper.

It's perfect for a party because you can make a large batch topping ahead of time as well as toasting baguettes slices. Either bring out a bowl of the bruschetta topping for people to put o their toast or do it for them right before serving.

Note: Use any tomatoes if you use big tomatoes just chopped into small pieces. and if you are using cherry tomatoes, just quarter them don't bother blanching or peeling them.



Ingredient :

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt

  • Ground Black paper

  • Red chili powder ( optional)

  • Baguette, French bread, or similar something or you can use any kind of loaf ( I used here homemade bread )

  • Hummus

Tomatoes mixture:

  • Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place them into a medium bowl.

  • Mix in the olive oil salt and ground black paper.

  • Now mix well together nicely.

  • Remember tomatoes love salt, You may need to add more than you expect.

  • Now your tomatoes topping is ready.




Method :

  • Make hummus ready first.

  • Use a bread knife to slice the bread into the thick slice.

  • Brush one side of each with olive oil and place the olive oil side on the baking sheet or roasting pan.

  • The bread slice will toast best in the top rack of your oven, so you may need to work in batches to toast them all.

  • If you want you can toast the bread slice without coating them first in olive oil. Toast them until it turns light brown on both side, Then brush with olive oil

  • Now Spread hummus on toast according to how much you like it. I like more humus coz I like hummus so I spread a good amount of hummus on toast.

  • And put tomato mixture on top.

  • And sprinkle some red chili powder. If you like some spiciness or you can omit it.

  • You can keep this as a side so people can have it on their own.
