Easy Falafal Wrap

You know as a foodie we are always craving something and I found very easy quick and yummy recipes that are so easy to cook and make.

So this falafel wrap is so super quick recipe that you like to make and I think once you eat you like to make it again and again.

I m sharing here how to make falafel with dried chickpeas in this post. As much as I love using dried chickpeas many of you say we won't able to make falafel in the last minutes, so you can use canned chickpeas also.

My favorite way to eat falafel is in a flatbread wrap with lots of fresh greens, tomatoes, creamy tahini sauce, and yogurt. But here we going to make it super easy so we not using any veggies here. Only we going to use here Tahini sauce and yogurt with yummy Falafel.

I love this falafel wrap for my son's school lunch but also like to serve them for an easy weeknight dinner. The most friendly way to serve them is to simply arrange all the fixing on a big platter and let everyone build their falafel wrap. You can use veggies also so it's so good to eat with veggies.

As I mentioned using canned chickpea is not the real way to make falafel. If you using canned chickpeas here I m going to share tips :

Make sure chickpeas and coriander ( You can use Parsley) are dry to avoid falafel that is too wet. Chop the onion, garlic, and parsley in a food processor first, then add chickpea so that they don't accidentally get too mashed. Chickpea flour works well as a binder. If you don't have it, You can use all-purpose flour also.


LET'S NOW JUMP TO STRAIGHT TO THE RECIPE:




INGREDIENT: FOR FALFEL

  • Chickpea

  • Fresh Coriander

  • Chana Flour ( Chickpea Flour)

  • Salt

  • Green Chili

  • Ginger

  • Lemon Juice

  • Red Chili Powder

  • Dhana Jira Powder

  • Turmeric

  • Oil

INGREDIENT: FOR DOUGH ( FLATBREAD)

  • All-Purpose Flour

  • Salt

  • Oil

  • Water

EXTRA :

  • Tahini Sauce

  • Yogurt

  • Hummus

METHOD :

HOW TO MAKE FALAFEL

  • First, soak dry chickpeas for 4 to 5 hours.

  • Then rinse nicely and grind that with green chili, ginger, coriander, salt, and lemon juice.

  • Make nice in dough form.

  • Now add Chana flour( Chickpea flour/ Gram Flour).

  • Now add all dry masala.

  • Mix everything nicely.

  • Heat oil in Pan just for shallow fry.

  • Now make falafel in patties form and shallow fry it in a pan. until it turns brown and crispy.

  • Now Falafel is ready. Keep them aside.

HOW TO MAKE DOUGH

  • Take a purpose flour and mix oil and salt inside.

  • Now add water according to needed and the quantity of purpose flour.

  • Now mix well kneed for a few minutes and make roti dough.

  • Now cut it into small pieces and roll it like a circle shape.

  • Now heat a pan and add your tortilla to the pan and roast it on both sides.

  • Now your tortilla is ready.

SERVE:

  • Take a tortilla and spread hummus on that.

  • Now put your falafel patties.

  • Pour some Tahini sauce on top of that.

  • And for some thick yogurt on top of that.

  • Now roll it and serve it.

  • Enjoy
