Congee is a type of porridge that is a very popular breakfast dish in many Asian countries. It is made by cooking rice in a large amount of water until it breaks down into a thick, porridge-like consistency. Congee can be eaten plain or flavored with a variety of ingredients, such as meat, seafood, vegetables, or spices.
But here I m not talking about actual conjee. It is a recipe that I saw on the Instagram reels and then I try it and it said chia conjee and I keep it like that. So this is basically kind of a side dish or it's kinda raita recipe. That you can enjoy it with roti or rice. And it's so yummy with a mixture of spicy and tangy flavors.
This is a very simple recipe and so easy to make.
So let's jump straight to the recipe.
Ingredient :
Thick yogurt or hung curd
Soaked chia seed
Grated cucumber
Roasted jeera powder
Chopped green chilies
Salt
Method:
In a big bowl take a hung curd or thick yogurt into a big bowl.
Now add grated cucumber and other ingredients.
Mixed it all well together.
Keep it n freeze it for 2 hours.
Now serve chilled and enjoy.
